Online colleges are growing in number with every passing year. What's more is that these schools manage to find students who avail of the online courses that they are offering. • Distance learning students, students who live and work in one city, state, or country and want to get a degree from a school located somewhere else
• Continuing education students, those who already have degree but want to further their studies

It is also generally believed that online education is more affordable than onsite ones. That may be true in some cases, but for the most part, the tuition fees are the same for online and onsite courses.  Money is saved because the students may not have to commute, travel and worry about lodging.
